The BC Herb Growers Association

Our Purpose

  • To promote, facilitate and enhance herb growing in British Columbia, Canada.
To promote, facilitate and enhance herb growing in British Columbia.

Incorporated as an association under the Province of British?s Society Act in 1997, we have a member elected Board of Directors which governs the BCHGA. Activities are organized with the assistance of a part time coordinator.

BC Herb Grower Association Objectives
  1. To provide and promote communication amongst herb growers.
  2. To provide representation for herb growers.
  3. To provide and support herb growing education.
  4. To facilitate and support herb growing research.
  5. To facilitate and support herb marketing.
  6. To encourage the production of quality products.

Member focus ranges from medicinal, culinary to essential oil. Members include all aspects of the herb sector including the following:

Membership Fees


Canadian Member: $35.00 CDN
Foreign member: $50.00 CDN.

Annual dues payable by cheque, cash or money order. Membership allows access to Member Only sections of the BCHGA Web site; membership also provides networking opportunities & access to market information. All our memberships run from April to April. Your application will be processed when your membership fee is received in full. » Become a Member
